VCT Americas 2026 Stage 1 Kicks Off Today — Teams, Schedule & Everything You Need to Know

The biggest VALORANT esports event in the Americas region has officially begun. VCT Americas 2026 Stage 1 kicks off today, April 10, at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles — and with three coveted spots at VALORANT Masters London on the line, the stakes could not be higher.

What Is VCT Americas 2026 Stage 1?

The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is Riot Games’ official global esports league for VALORANT. Stage 1 is the first major league phase of the year, where the top teams from the Americas region go head-to-head to earn their ticket to Masters London — one of the most prestigious international events in competitive VALORANT.

This year, 12 partnered teams will battle it out across six intense weeks of competition, running from April 10 all the way to May 24, 2026.

Format: How Does It Work?

VCT Americas Stage 1 is split into two phases:

Group Stage (April 10 – May 10)

  • 12 teams are divided into two single round-robin groups of 6
  • All matches are Best of 3 (Bo3)
  • Top 4 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs
  • Group winners get a direct bye to the Upper Bracket Semifinals
  • 2nd and 3rd place teams enter Upper Bracket Round 1
  • 4th place teams start from the Lower Bracket

Playoffs (May 14 – May 24)

  • Double-elimination bracket
  • All matches are Bo3 except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are Bo5
  • Top 3 teams qualify for VALORANT Masters London 2026

Week 1 Match Schedule (April 10–12)

The 12 Teams Competing

All 12 partnered Americas teams are in the fight:

Sentinels | G2 Esports | MIBR | LOUD | 100 Thieves | Evil Geniuses | Cloud9 | Leviatán | FURIA | NRG | KRÜ Esports | ENVY

One of the most talked-about storylines heading into Stage 1 is MIBR’s superstar lineup, which now includes the legendary player aspas — making them one of the absolute favorites this season. ENVY is also generating massive hype after signing Demon1, widely considered one of the premier talents in North American VALORANT.

Who Are the Favorites?

NRG leads the pre-tournament odds, despite not winning the Americas Kickoff event earlier this year. They remain one of the most experienced and well-rounded rosters in the league. G2 Esports and MIBR are also considered strong contenders, while FURIA — who won Americas Kickoff 2026 — will be looking to back up their early-season form.

How to Watch

You can catch all the action live on:

  • Twitch: twitch.tv/valorant
  • YouTube: youtube.com/valorant
  • Community streamers like Tarik, Mixwell, and GOFNS will also be covering the event live on their individual channels.

Why This Matters

With only 3 spots available for Masters London, every single match counts from Day 1. There is no room for complacency — any team that drops early games in the Group Stage could find themselves fighting for survival in the Lower Bracket. This is going to be one of the most competitive and exciting stages of VALORANT esports in 2026.
